It's crazy to see how long it's been since I last posted. So much has happened since January 2023. But what remains the same is my faith in our Savior, Jesus Christ. I know He lives, and I know He loves each and every one of us. He knows our sorrows and ours pains, for He has borne them. Through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, we can be made whole, we can be redeemed from sin, and we can be enabled to do more beyond our own power. Jesus Christ is there with us through it all, whether we are wading through the storms of life or are enjoying a moment of sunshine. Like a beloved hymn says, "Thru cloud and sunshine, Lord, abide with me" (Hymn 166).
Yesterday, I was reading in 2 Nephi. One of my favorite verses is in chapter twenty-two. It talks about how Jesus Christ is our Savior, our strength, and our song. I have always loved this verse (see also Isaiah 12:2). As someone who has anxiety and depression, this verse has become a soothing balm for me. I created a wallpaper with this verse to remind me every time I use my phone that Jesus Christ knows and loves me, and that I have access to His redeeming and enabling power in my life. I know this is true for you, too. You are never too far gone that the light of Jesus Christ's Atonement cannot find you (as Elder Holland taught in the April 2012 General Conference). Fear not, for He is there. Always.
Happy Sunday, dear friends! I hope you have a wonderful week. Feel free to download this wallpaper for your phone, or send me a request with your favorite verse, and I'll make one for you. Cheers!
